Panorama Guest House Jabal Shams is located in Sa‘ab Banī Khamīs. There's a terrace and guests can use free WiFi and free private parking.

Ram went out of his way to satisfy the customer's needs. Owner flexible regarding booking arrangements. The property is right at the start of the Balcony walk. Views from the room are stunning (you can stay in the bed in order to witness the sunrise). Room can be heated with the aircon inverter. Nice, contemporary, high quality build. You can reach it easily with a 2wd (also with automatic, provided it has a D 3 2 1 gearbox), no need for a 4wd.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Great location, with easy access to nearby sites and also close to facilities in town. The room itself was very comfortable and nicely decorated. But more than anything, the hosts were super kind and helpful!

It was one of the best experience during our 14 days trip over Oman. Hamsa is really good guy. He offers us very good and cheap dinner. We talked a lot about Oman culture.

Very friendly. Check-in workerd well. We even wanted to extend our stay one night, but there was no free room available. Great location for hiking!

Great location for doing Jabal Shams balcony walk home. The host/owner was very nice and let me keep my things in the room until next day so that I could come after the hike and have a shower (which I did around 2-3 pm).

I've been traveling for more than 10 years, but this is only a 2nd 10 I've given as I don't find a reason why I shouldn't in this case. It's a lovely and very cozy hostel, with everything you need, nice and welcoming host, and a roof from where you can see Jebel Shams and mountains all around. If I could I would have stayed longer here, I enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. If I ever come back, I will surely stay here again!
