THe host did try to help us get a ride to get some dinner at a Mall. It was a walk-up restaurant like we see in US food courts at a mall. That was our only access to a restaurant.

Was congested the whole time, it felt like milddew or mold… staff was somewhat friendly. I had to make pancakes for myself though. One guy was at the desk and a lot of people were staying there. Room was climate controlled but I didn’t sleep good. There was ONE full bathroom on the second floor, two open showers and two half baths (one half bath was a double toilet and double sink) for 30+ people…

This property is a little gem in the beautiful El Cangrejo neighborhood. It's a couple blocks removed from Via Argentina (the main party strip) so you get the convenience of being close to everything in this bustling little barrio without the noise and revelry. The property itself is basic yet clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing and they seem to attract like minded visitors as every guest I spoke with was friendly and considerate. This is not a modern, plush hotel; But for the money you won't find better accommodations in such a hip, vibrant neighborhood. Can you tell I really liked it?

Location is great a lot of restaurant, cafes and bars nearby. Hostel doesn't list parking available however they let me park my motorcycle on their porch, and there's plenty of cars parked on the street. If you pay with card they'll charge 5% which is pretty standard for hostels in Panama city, they offer tours and bike rentals
