This hostel was located a short 5-10 minute walk from the main part of town, on top of a hill with a great view of the ocean. The facility was very clean and the hosts were very helpful with anything we needed. The hostel did have a bar on site which made it easy to get a late night drink with music playing. The bar was not very busy while we were there but they did mention they often throw parties there. One important note about this hostel is there is a little hill you have to walk up to reach the property which was not an issue for my group, but just keep this in mind for when you arrive as if you have a lot of luggage you may want to take a tuk-tuk from the van station.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The stay is at the top of a hill so do expect to walk a bit uphill but it is so worth it! The huts are beautiful and they have everything you might need during your stay. The space around the huts is also beautiful. Everything is very clean as well. The breakfast that's included is small but good! (2 toasts, one egg, one banana and coffee/tea). If you need more they will charge you but for us it was perfect. The town is about a 15 minute walk from the stay which for us was not a problem. The bed was comfortable, the mosquito net was very helpful, the cold water was perfect because it was hot out there. Norma and Victor were very kind to us. She helped us book the island hopping tour and it was a highlight of our stay. Always happy and ready to help. There are rooster and dog noises at night but this has happened at every stay we've had in the Philippines so just bring earplugs for this trip.

The beds were very comfortable with curtains. The WiFi is great ( doesn’t extend to the room which is not a problem) the staff was AMAZING very kind and will help you with anything. They have multiple showers & bathrooms they are cleaned regularly. This is a 5-10 min walk from the bus station/city center. They have a good restaurant with lots of food choices. I would recommend & stay again.

We liked the owners and how they treated us as their guests. You can really see how the two owners were a team handling guests. The room had all the things we needed and the wifi was very reliable, my girlfriend was able to work online during our stay. I hope this accommodation gets to expand in the future, I personally want them to succeed!

I loved this place. The employees were super nice. And although the showers are outside, it was comfortable. Also a big commun area.

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Really nice and cosy newly opened hostel. Beds are very spacious (bigger than 1 size), curtains gives a lot of privacy and it's completely dark for good sleep. The view is amazing and host knows everything I might want to know about Port Barton. And for this price, it might be just the best place to stay in Port Barton.
Excellent accommodation in Port Barton Town, a few steps away from the central bus station and a short walk from the city centre. Area is safe and quiet, with nature views. Guesthouse is clean, well equipped, beds are comfortable and the host is very welcoming. He provided us with local recommendations and made sure we had a pleasant stay!
If you're a budget traveler, this is the spot. Some rooms have air conditioning, mine didn't but I am happy with a fab this time of year. No hot water, but I wouldn't call it cold by any means either. Go out, explore, get hot and have a refreshing shower. The location is unbeatable. Walking distance to bus station, there's a day market right outside and the school kids sing to you for dinner (school is across the street). Beach is a block away.
As soon as I arrived I was welcomed and felt part of the family, I was given great advice on what tours to do and they made sure I got on the best ones, I was invited to dinner, karaoke, and had the most amazing time with these people, I ended up extending an extra night. It’s in a great location and I highly recommend
