Gorgeous place to stay - the staff and owners we're wonderful, kind, generous and even let me store luggage there whilst away on Malapascua Island. A five minute walk from Maya port so location is perfect. Greeted with coffee and fruit in the morning 10/10 would recommend.

Booked in a rush as I couldn't go to Malapascua due to weather.
The owner treated us like kings.
Ok it's a room with a bed but I didn't spend the night out and I don't have enough food words to say about the owners

The room was really dark with only a window towards a wall. The bathroom was super tiny so that you could not move and the tab water was smelling badly. The common area does not look like as the pictures (anymore) and the Bar does not exist anymore since they closed the room with a roof. So no outside chilling area anymore and very humid room with a bad smell. Definitely not Worte any money and we changed accomodation immediately. Unfortunately we did not get back any money.

The staff are absolutely amazing and couldn’t do more for you :)
I stayed in a private hut and it was the nicest little space. It is on the north beach which is stunning and so quiet, but a 20minute walk from the main area. Staff are always around to take you down to the main area on the bike for 50pesos if you need.
Thank you again Richard and the rest of the staff :)

Nice location right by the beach, very close to the port too, so getting the ferry was very straightforward. Loved the size of the balcony too. Water pressure in the shower was also excellent.

Villa Atlas in Malapascua Island is a cozy retreat in the heart of the city (felt like home away from home!): the location is unbeatable, friendly vibes, and a welcoming community. Highly recommend. The place is comfortable, clean, and social, the hostel is a traveler’s paradise, I created amazing memories here, thanks to the perfect blend of comfort and fun. The staff made all the difference, all kind and very chill person. Finally I can tell that this place is truly a gem for backpackers 😁
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
I could have stayed all week. Great location, excellent staff, good food, clean and confortable rooms. The ones with garden have the bathroom new and modern, the rooms with see views (al least ours) not renovated yet but it is worth paying more for the sea views.
Belen, the manager, excellent host.
From the moment we arrived at the reception on the first day until the checkout on the last day, everything was perfect. The room, the restaurant, the location, and the safety were all excellent.
We are especially grateful to all the staff who took such great care of us. The 2-night stay at the Exotic Resort will be unforgettable.
We hope there still will have The happy hour event during our next vacation as well.
The people are so lovely! The vibe of the place is chill and nice -- it's a perfect place to stay if you want a "glamping" setup. Obviously it's not like a hotel or hostel - no AC, toilets aren't flush, you're in a hut -- but if you're looking for a camp style experience, this is the place to be!
The free pick up from the bus stop to the hotel is much appreciated.
It was late but the owner cooked us delicious meals at a cheap price.
The shared bathrooms were super clean and tidy.
They also offer ride to the port for a fair price.
Everything perfect in the estabilshment. Extremely kind people and quality of service very above their prices. I would highly recommend any backpacker to go there! They even served local breakfast and talked to us about their traditions and culture. Lovely couple and amazing time there. Not to be missed on your way to Malapascua!
Beautiful location and staff that were very helpful. A really nice, simple breakfast provided, even though the room was cheap. Cleanliness was exceptional
My flight was delayed and I missed the last bus to get there so I arrived at 5am. Knowing that I would arrive this late/early, the owner was waiting for me to make sure I arrived safely.
She made sure I had everything I needed and allowed me to sleep in a bit later than the normal check-out time.
Amazing staff, super nice!!!
The room and bathroom/shower was clean, the bed comfortable.
I would definitely go back!
Cosy little beach huts literally right on the beach. Comfortable, clean bed. Toilets and showers (cold) are very clean and water pressure was good. Host was helpful enough, although not necessarily welcoming. Breakfast in the morning (extra) if you want it. Good value for money if you’re looking for somewhere cheap for one night.
