Summer, the host was very friendly and helpful with information about the city, the volcano and various activities for tourists. The hostel itself is very spacious. The dormitories are comfortable, bathrooms clean and the roof terrace offers fantastic views of the city and the vulcano. JDL is the only hostel in the Legazpi so it's your best shot at meeting other travellers. Would work well for families/couples/friends. Really kind staff who went above and beyond for us. We left something precious and the staff helped liaise with where we left it and even helped us afterwards by couriering it to us. So thankful! Thank you very much! Our room were very spacious, the facilities still looks new, we love the solid wood materials they used for the rooms. Rooms are soundproof so you wouldn't be woken up by the highway noises or dogs barking. You can watch netflix as well. Feels very homely, great facilities and quiet in the evenings. The owner gave lots of good recommendations and helped organised transport and tours.
