Gated so felt safe and secure all the time. The apartment had everything you needed, including a cool box and beach mats, although I didn't find a beach towel. Playa La Fortuna is 300 yards away and quite beautiful, it's actually an extension of Playa Loquillo so it's an easy access to 20ish restaurants in the Kiosk. The room (and all the amenities) was extremely clean, also staff was top. Luquillo was meant to be a quick stopover and to be honest we didn’t really expect that much - but considering the beautiful ocean and great hostel, it exceeded our expectations and I would have loved to have stayed more than just one night :)Guest review byJaquelineYoung couple

A nice colony of pigeons resting on window sylls. Area feels safe. 4 min walk W to stable bar (great location, open day time) and beach (and stream), and 7 min walk E to beach towards Luquillo.
