Stayed on a long flight layover and the owners kindly accommodated an early check in. This was slightly offset by unexpectedly having to find local currency to pay - this was quite expensive and a little stressful, particularly in the heat
Good location with reasonable basic facilities
Offering an outdoor pool surrounded by garden, free Wi-Fi and free breakfast, Nomada Hostel is located in Asunción. It sits just 700 metres from the historic centre of Asunción.

Nice, lively hostel. Maybe this is the main place all travellers in Asuncion come to stay so it’s an odd mix of travellers and nomads. Staff are friendly and well located for visiting the city
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
It's one of the best hostels I've ever been to in all my travels. there, there is incredible energy, good atmosphere, all the people are great, everything is clean, beautiful swimming pool, beautiful garden to relax in, the wifi works very well. I don't know what else to say. This hostel is magical
The vibe is super nice in this hostel, they make some really nice drinks! Their caipirinha is amazing! And I'm saying this as a brazilian. The beers are always cold. Nice swimming pool. Super friendly staff. Getting breakfast is very much worth it! It's cheap and has a lot of options. Good location too, only some 10-15min walk from the touristy areas. There is a very good food market some 2 minutes walk from the hostel. The hostel has 24h reception. Very clean.
Best place in Paraguay, and best hostel in last 30+ stays.
Easy to meet people, nice chillout area with garden and pool, cheap drinks, great staff, comfy beds, adorable cats.
Everything. Absolutely amazing experience. The owner is a super helpful person. Place is super new and extremely clean. Great location walking distance from the old town. And super safe.
The best part of this hostel was the staff. They were super friendly and provided lots of helpful tips about Asuncion. Definitely recommend grabbing a drink with them at the hostel. Also the hostel has hammocks, billiards table and table tennis in the common area (which is a great spot for backpackers). Good location to the city center and reasonable prices.
Such a well managed hostel. Staff are always present and available to help with anything. The communal areas are big with lot's of options for social or private seating. The reception doubles as a bar serving drinks at a good price. A really nice vibe, I met lot's of nice people here. One of the best hostels I've stayed at.
Great vibe very relaxing hostel.
they offer a wonderful breakfast buffet and good priced bar.
location is a bit far from the historical centre (20min) but nice walk and safe area and close to shops and cheap shawarmas
