I stayed here during the middle of winter, which is a very quiet time on the archipelago. I had a very relaxing and peaceful time here. As I also stayed over the weekend, there was almost no one around - and the restaurant/cafeteria was also closed during this time so I had to buy groceries for the weekend (which I didn't mind - just have to be careful re bus timetables because this chore can take a very long time). I had a room and bathroom all to myself, and only had to share all the other facilities in the dorm with one other person. I loved walking around the forest, using the gym and sauna, and really unwinding and enjoying quiet time. The staff were very helpful and replied very quickly. If you are looking for quite an independent stay, this is the place for you.
Situated in Vaxholm, 400 metres from Bogesund Castle, Bogesund Slottsvandrarhem features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

Breakfast was an additional cost. It offered a good selection of foods including dairy free options which suited our needs.
Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were sparkling and clean. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Great chilled location with great bus connection to Stockholm and the central station. We walked most places.
Communal spaces were clean and welcoming with books and games provided. I particularly liked the little furnished alcoves dotted around the hostel making the most of the lovely view over gamla stan.
Located in the centre of Stockholm’s Old Town, this hostel is 3 minutes’ walk from the Gamla Stan Metro Station. It features a communal, fully equipped kitchen, along with bright, fresh rooms.

The hostel is in a nice location, right in the old town. Its located on the third floor and is no too big- more like a big apartment! The vibes ar cozy and clean.
Conveniently set in the Östermalm district of Stockholm, Nomad Gardet is located 2.7 km from Skansen Open-Air Museum, 2.7 km from ABBA The Museum and 3 km from Gröna Lund Amusement Park.
Ideally set in the Skarpnäck district of Stockholm, Hotel City Living is situated 2.5 km from Flatenbadet Beach, 5.8 km from Tele2 Arena and 8.9 km from Stockholmsmassan Exhibition & Congress Centre.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location in the archipelago seeing the huge ships passing by, good home made breakfast, friendly staff, nice traditional Swedish house, extremely clean and nice rooms
What an excellent place to visit over midsommar weekend or any summer week. The grounds are fantastic. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are a litte cozy but this is a dorm, after all. Perfect hostel experience.
