Such a wonderful family and so much energy and spirit. They went out of their way to help me in my particular needs. And it really wasn't their problem but they are so caring about their guests they made sure I got what I needed. Also, they were a lot of fun! We had laughs along the way, all while they were getting their things done too. Such a great stay. I'd definitely go back.

Set in Chiang Dao, 37 km from Elephant Nature Park, Chiang Dao Hostel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

Such an easy place to live in. Located within walking distance of the Bus station, Chiang Dao Hostel’s private cottage was perfect for our week long stay. Set alongside a stream, we got to enjoy wonderful sunrises, sunsets from our balcony and hang up items to dry. Super useful when you visit the hot springs and streams as much as we did. There are communal areas with hammocks, tables, chairs, hot water, coffee sachets etc. Very friendly staff and a comfortable bed rounded things off nicely. Recommend highly and would certainly stay here again. Note that the bathroom does lead off the balcony and is not the usual en-suite arrangement.

Wonderful place to relax and to meet fellow travellers in a mellow environment. Kat and her sister are absolutely lovely and are extremely helpful. They went above and beyond to answer my questions and assist me while I was staying with them. Epic hostel!

Lovely hostel nearby the Main Street and bus station of Chiang Dao. The staff are very friendly and can organise a scooter rental for you, which makes it easy to get around to the different sites. The grounds of the hostel are so peaceful with many places to chill out, including the hammocks! The beds are really comfortable and they provide free towels.

The hostel itself is a work of art. Beautiful garden with hammocks and a bamboo house by the river. Kat was the best host you could imagine. Not only could I get a free upgrade to the most beautiful bamboo house, but she also organized my guided hike through the forest, the caves, a hot spring and up to a tent on the hill. She also showed me her favorite noodle restaurant and taught me how to ride a scooter. I stayed for a week in total and recommend this hostel to anyone - from solo backpacker to family holiday ❤️
