The local shops are 5 minutes walk from the resort. You can get food and drink there a lot cheaper, if on a budget, plus massages. They support the budget of backpackers because they have a water cooler, which saves travellers 20/30baht each time they purchase a bottle of water. Also, the Air conditioning is fantastic. There was a nice sociable area in front of the sea too with access to the beach. It’s absolutely perfect for budget backpackers or someone with a lower budget & I believe it’s the cheapest accommodation on the island. We enjoyed our stay here and even extended it by one night!
