Nicest place we've stayed in Taiwan. It's so nicely decorated, comfy, the communal kitchen is out of this world, we loved it. Relaxing atmosphere, we decided to spend a few hours of the day reading in the library next to the kitchen.

I really enjoyed my 2 night stay here and would have liked to stay longer if I had time. The hosts were super nice and helpful and the place was clean and comfortable. It’s in a great location and has a nice rooftop as well. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Donghe/Dulan.

Friendly and welcoming owner, best hostel to stay for people who enjoy surfing in Taitung
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Jamie is the best host who makes an extra effort to create a welcoming environment and gives great recommendations for things to do. Breakfast is amazing. One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. 10/10.
