The dorms were like private pods, I didn't hear anything from others and it felt like I had my own room, that was great! Enough space for luggage in there too! The shower and toilet facilities were great too, with fancy toilet! Location wise it is nicely located close to the lake and the bus stop. Sadly the food shops are a little more expansive then in bigger cities and they close early (around 7.30pm). Nice common areas, but still not social at all.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Stay at Deer Traveler Hostel! I had an incredible stay at Deer Traveler Hostel in Sun Moon Lake! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the lake and bus stop, making it super convenient for exploring the area. The hostel itself is beautifully designed, modern, and exceptionally clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to provide travel tips and recommendations. The common areas are cozy, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it easy to meet other travelers. The rooms were comfortable, and the beds had privacy curtains, which was a nice touch. I also appreciated the small details, like lockers for storage and free toiletries. Overall, this hostel exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re visiting Sun Moon Lake, I highly recommend staying at Deer Traveler Hostel—it’s one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at!
