The cottage was quaint and homely, it was perfect for a getaway along the coastal part of the Western Cape. The amenities were perfectly complimentary to what I needed for my stay. Close enough to local activities and other coastal towns along the garden route. The cottage felt safe at all times even though the exterior wall wasn't high like most places in South Africa (Bonus is that the police station is on the same street a bit further down, if safety is a priority when choosing a location).

Beautiful, clean, safe and comfortable apartment, just meters away from the beach. Good restaurant just around the corner. The place has everything one may need. Very easy communication with Ruth, the owner. We wouldn't hesitate to book again, if ever visiting the Slow town again 😊

Very cosy with excellent facilities and masses of storage. The double room was particularly luxurious with lovely decor and a beautiful en-suite (big, fluffy towels!). I'm not sure how it's done but we hardly knew there was load shedding, which made it less stressful than a previous vist to Cape Town. The location, tucked away behind the main house (along with the other bungalow) felt very private and safe, and being next to the lagoon was stunning.

Great location, comfortable beds, clean room, friendly host. Had an excellent meal at the restaurant downstairs. Accommodation was a bit pricey for offering but I expect demand has driven the price up. Right on a good swimming beach which also provided the scene for an amazing sunset.
