Located in Berat, Aral Hostel provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The hostel features a shared lounge. At the hostel, rooms come with a wardrobe. Very new, clean place with good wifi close to bus station. Owner is very responsive and is always available by whatsapp to answer questions. I was coming from Sarande and he knew the bus driver and had them drop me off right in front of the hostel and later also helped reserve my tickets to Tirana without having to wait in line at the station.

It's a one-room (4-bed) hostel so not a social atmosphere but I didn't really want that so it suited me well. Everything was new and so comfortable. Nice sheets, pillows and a new mattresses. The AC was great and the place was decorated with a lot of love, in a very cute way with Berat touches everywhere. You can tell someone put effort into how it looks! It felt like being at home since they offer small extra things like fresh towels and tea and coffee to have whenever you want - even a little sweet treat left on the bed for you. I also was able to check in early which was really nice of them.
