Situated in Basel and with Messe Basel reachable within 1.2 km, Silo Design & Boutique Hostel Basel features express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a living room, free WiFi throughout the... I really liked it, I was amazed and fascinated. When I told Hilde, the receptionist and restaurant host, that I was very impressed, she gave me detailed information about the history of this building and showed me photos. There was also a book in the living room, Hilde showed me the part about Silo Hostel, in the book. By the way, Hilde is an extremely kind, smiling and helpful hotel employee. She asked me in the morning if I was comfortable during the night. I said the goose feather pillow was too thin for my neck so she gave me a second pillow so I was extremely comfortable for the next 2 nights. I am a 59-year-old solo traveler, so my biggest concern was finding the transportation vehicle and the location of the hostel after getting off at the airport. I was also worried about whether I would be able to do the self-check-in. Everything was very easy. I took the number 50 bus from the airport. The hotel prepares your daily transportation card in advance anyway. In this case, you get on the bus without paying a fee. When you arrive at the hotel, it is also very easy to check in via Hostel's tablet. In conclusion, everything was perfect. Silo Design & Boutique Hostel Basel was the only hotel I was sad to leave. I loved it very much 🩷

Just 300 metres from the SBB Basel railway station (exit Gundeldingen), Hostel by Hyve Basel offers budget accommodation just a 15-minute walk from Basel's city centre. I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodation in this city, as it offered easily accessible and comfortable amenities. I recommend it to anyone on a short trip to Basel.

Tutto: è la quinta volta che mi fermo a dormire qui. Accoglienza perfetta in un ostello spazioso e pulito. Cosa volere di più?

Basel-Stadt Gundeldingen Zimmer 403, WC in the hallway, outside the room è situato a Basilea, a 2,4 km da Museo Ebraico di Basilea e 2,6 km da Laurenz-Stiftung Schaulager. Avrei dato un 9 come voto se non fosse che al mio arrivo ( ore 22.00 comunicate ) le chiavi non erano nella buchetta ( digitando il codice ). Chiamata la proprietaria non ha risposto e nemmeno scusata nei giorni successivi. Sono entrato grazie al ragazzo che lavoro/dorme li che stava rientrando che dopo dieci minuiti che era fuori che mi guardava si è deciso a darmi una mano. Cucina bella e ben fornita di accessori peccato che il frigo aveva al suo interno un odore cattivo di mangiare. Per la struttura girava un ragazzo ( lo stesso che ho trovato all'ingresso la sera prima ) che in teoria faceva credo le pulizie, ero in stanza e ho sentito la maniglia girare ed era lui, sono subito uscito e gli ho detto che voleva, ma non ha risposto. Trovo tutto questo strano e di cattivo gusto !!! Peccato perché la struttura in se merita !! Dovrebbe essere gestita da persone più serie. Sono un viaggiatore assiduo, serio e rispettoso e non alle prime armi. Non mi sento di consigliare questo luogo solo per quanto mi è successo, non è detto che sia sempre così, porto solo la mia esperienza .
