The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. It offers a park with a pool, free WiFi and a limited number of free parking spaces. The location of the Hotel and hostel is excellent. It is just 500 meters or less walking distance from the Lugano Main train station. From Platform No. 3 or 4, start walking in the backward direction, and anyone can see the hotel. The hotel surroundings with greenery were one of the best things I liked most. It has a big common room for dinner, tea time or even for working on your laptop. It is also a perfect place to work from anywhere. All the staff were helpful and made me feel at home away from home. I couldn't ask for anything better than this. I ultimately extended my stay as it was too good to leave early.
