Because it was still low season we got a free upgrade to a better room which is always a nice surprise. The room was very comfortable and the location is fantastic. Located right on the shore of the scenic Eugenisee Lake, Pension St. Jakob is 800 metres from the centre of Engelberg and a 5-minute walk from the Engelberg Cable Car. Clean, pleasant room. Good breakfast in the restaurant opposite. The hotel reception is located in the hotel opposite Espen. If the reception is closed, use the emergency phone.
