Compared to hostels in other countries, this is a next level, excellent hostel. Compared to hostels in other Swiss cities, it's also one of the best (I visited altogether four cities). If you consider that the breakfast is included in the room/bed price (and how expensive eating out in Switzerland is), this is a very good deal (and it was the best, richest breakfast of the four hostels, and gluten free bread also available upon request). EU plugs available and plenty, not necessarily the case in other places.

The Oldtown Hostel Otter and its old-established Wüste Bar is a stylish place for the young-at-heart in Zürich's Old Town, about 300 metres from the Zürich-Stadelhofen train station and the lake. The Hostel has a great location on old Zurich. It has an elevator which is located on the 1st floor. The elevator is pretty small, but it works. The rooms are spacious enough. They have towels, but they don’t change them.

Comfortable and clean room. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen had all the basic necessities. The host was incredibly kind and gave us great tips for what to do in the area.

Depot 195 occupies a renovated brick building in a historic factory site in the centre of Winterthur, 500 metres from the train station. The hotel is really good located, only 7 min from the train station with direct train to the airport and in the walking distance to the most attractions. There are good restaurants nearby. In the room there is electric kettle and everything you need to make tea - it was really important to us because of low temperatures this weekend. The bathroom was clean and conveniently equipped. The room was really quiet, it was for us very important to have silence, especially at night.
