They reserved the gear we requested for us without a deposit. We rented a tent, two sleeping bags, two sleeping pads, two pairs of trekking poles and two backpacks, and everything was of good quality and in great condition. They also provide free storage for the items you don't want to take with you on the trek. I loved the huge lockers under the beds, the private showers and the location of the hostel. The bus terminal is only a 10-minute walk away. Tried to stay here again after the hike, but it was fully booked.
