It’s a dream to wake up to the sound of waves and nature. You walk out of your room to a beautiful balcony with the beach directly beneath you, right at your doorstep! The balcony also has a perfect view of the sunset. The sisters, Cami and Sol were so helpful and welcoming. They cooked me amazing vegetarian breakfasts every morning, which I was so thankful for. I loved where DespertArte is located, on a peaceful and more quiet area of Playa Blanca. It isn’t totally crowded with people partying or trying to sell you things. Although it is just a short walk down the beach to many restaurants, bars, shops, and more. It was a breath of fresh air to live a more simple and rustic life for a few days. You can totally disconnect from the world here and just live. I truly didn’t want to leave! I can’t wait to return someday.
