Situated in Liberia and with Parque Nacional Santa Rosa reachable within 38 km, Hostel El Pretal features a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared... The owners were so nice. The taxi they organised for us didn't turn up, so they drove 20km to pick us up in their own car and wouldn't accept any payment. The family apartment was very comfortable and clean. It had essentials such as coffee tea, sugar, salt and oil. Close to supermarkets and walking distance to bus station and restaurants. The firstt load of laundry was free, which was a great bonus. The outside road was a little noisy with music at night, but it was the weekend.

Everyone was amazing. So welcoming. Super energy. It has very relaxed vibe. It was a home away from home.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating! We arrived at 6pm and wanted dinner, and they offered to bring the dinner to our cabin. We loved the rustic atmosphere, with displays of traditional farming tools that the owner family used. Coffee was served with freshly squeezed milk and homemade cheese. The cabins were beautiful with enormous windows that had views of beautiful plants, trees, and flowers.

Set in Playa Grande, a few steps from Grande Beach, Pipe House Playa Grande offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. The place is really clean and the communal spaces are really the heart of Pipe House. The staff is really friendly as well. Overall, an incredible vibe. I was traveling on my own and felt really safe and friendly.

What a great community at Playa Grande Surf Camp. The facilities and staff were wonderful. Can't ask for a better location. Already thinking about my next visit.

Offering an extensive garden with an outdoor lounge area, a shared living room with TV and swimming pool, Hostel La Botella de Leche is located 300 metres from Tamarindo Beach. hands down the best hostel i have ever stayed in! staff is wonderful and hostel is super clean. we traveled for a few weeks thru Costa Rica and this was the only hostel that didn’t have bugs in the bedroom and kitchen area wad always clean. vibes are incredible and super easy to make new friends!

The vibes are amazing, such a good communal energy and so many lovely people!! The kitchen is nice and had everything we needed :)
