La Tribu Boutique Hostel for Women er staðsett í innan við 500 metra fjarlægð frá Negra-ströndinni og 1,6 km frá Cocles-ströndinni. By far the best hostel I’ve stayed at!!! Clean, beautiful and kitchen is dreamy.

Cabinas Algebra er staðsett í 2,5 km fjarlægð frá Cahuita og býður upp á veitingastað. Honestly what is there not to like? I booked last minute and showed up and was treated like family (but not the needy type 😏) I was only going to stay for the night, but the accommodations, location, and staff (which consisted of a lovely German family and extended local family) enticed me to stay a couple more days. (last minute even) They went out of their way to make it happen, and I did have to change rooms (because of my last minute choice) but the entire experience was awesome. the rooms (both of them were comfortable,clean, there was hot water and there was wildlife everywhere. I woke up and outside my door was a young sloth mulling about and feeding. Best Hotel yet. 2 months into a 4 month trip. Also it is very close to the park and I learned if you go to park from Chaulita side it is free. so saved me money.

Pagalù Hostel er staðsett í Puerto Viejo, 200 metra frá Negra-ströndinni, og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlegri setustofu og verönd. Very clean, well located, good rooms and location. Friendly staff.

Arcari Garden Hostel er staðsett í aðeins 400 metra fjarlægð frá Tortuguero-þjóðgarðinum, aðeins nokkrum skrefum frá sjávarsíðunni og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna. The location was really good : close from the main street and the beach is accessible by the soccer court at 2 min by walk. Very clean. The receptionist was very nice with us.

El Clan Hostel er staðsett í Puerto Viejo, 500 metra frá Negra-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og bar. Really gorgeous garden property with a great pool and dorms. The staff are super friendly and there’s even a resident sloth named Raul :)

Tasty Dayz Hostel er staðsett í Puerto Viejo, 200 metra frá Cocles-ströndinni og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlegri setustofu og veitingastað. The room was well set up; the bed was comfortable, the 2 fans were great and having a mini fridge in the room was very handy. We loved that there were sloths and agouti around the hostel. We also loved Tequila, one of the cats who was super friendly. He brightened our days!

Madre Selva Hostel er staðsett í Puerto Viejo, í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Cocles-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlega setustofu og verönd. Everything! The facilities and the staff are amazing:)

Chinitas Eco Lodge er staðsett í Tortuguero og Tortuguero-ströndin er í nokkurra skrefa fjarlægð. Boðið er upp á upplýsingaborð ferðaþjónustu, reyklaus herbergi, garð, ókeypis WiFi og verönd. Its more remote compared to tortuguero itself but amazing to stay for 2 days. It is not as crowded as Tortuguero is. And Owen (my guide for the day) was a great guide with really good knowledge and a high interest in animal life and nature

La Ruka Hostel er staðsett í Puerto Viejo, í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Cocles-ströndinni og í 16 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Negra-ströndinni. Overall excellent hostel with a great mix of socializing and chill laid back energy. Clean. Many activities available. Ice bath was an awesome experience. Well situated between town and punta uva/ other beaches. Cheap bike rental. Thank you and see you next time La Ruka!
