I loved my stay at La Tribu, it’s an amazing hostel and I was so relaxed there. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful common area, really friendly employees, bike rental (for 6$), everything in town is in close walking distance. I didn’t even mind to share the room with 7 others because there are toilets and showers outside in addition to the room’s bathroom.

Arcari Garden Hostel is located just 400 metres from Tortuguero National Park, just a few steps from the sea shores and features free WiFi access is available in all areas. The location was really good : close from the main street and the beach is accessible by the soccer court at 2 min by walk. Very clean. The receptionist was very nice with us.

El clan is in the center of Puerto Viejo and yet it is quiet and serene. I love the convenience, friendly staffs, nice facilities especially the pool which we thought is a great deal, the AC which for me is a must when you are in a tropical country, the sorrounding trees where you can sometimes find a sloth up close and most importantly it is where I met new friends from accross the world. ♥️ Ive been looking for a comment before if they provide a towel so YES they do and you only need to deposit 5k colones which will be reimbursed when you return it back. Also, Puerto Viejo is located near a lush vegetation so mosquitoes are expected, I suggest you buy a repellant which is available in a nearby supermercado. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Nastanitev Chinitas Eco Lodge se nahaja v mestu Tortuguero, le nekaj korakov od znamenitosti Plaža Playa Tortuguero, in ponuja informacijski pult, sobe za nekadilce, vrt, brezplačen WiFi ter teraso. Its more remote compared to tortuguero itself but amazing to stay for 2 days. It is not as crowded as Tortuguero is. And Owen (my guide for the day) was a great guide with really good knowledge and a high interest in animal life and nature

Overall excellent hostel with a great mix of socializing and chill laid back energy. Clean. Many activities available. Ice bath was an awesome experience.
