I loved my stay at La Tribu, it’s an amazing hostel and I was so relaxed there. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful common area, really friendly employees, bike rental (for 6$), everything in town is in close walking distance. I didn’t even mind to share the room with 7 others because there are toilets and showers outside in addition to the room’s bathroom.

Honestly what is there not to like? I booked last minute and showed up and was treated like family (but not the needy type 😏) I was only going to stay for the night, but the accommodations, location, and staff (which consisted of a lovely German family and extended local family) enticed me to stay a couple more days. (last minute even) They went out of their way to make it happen, and I did have to change rooms (because of my last minute choice) but the entire experience was awesome. the rooms (both of them were comfortable,clean, there was hot water and there was wildlife everywhere. I woke up and outside my door was a young sloth mulling about and feeding. Best Hotel yet. 2 months into a 4 month trip. Also it is very close to the park and I learned if you go to park from Chaulita side it is free. so saved me money.

Arcari Garden Hostel is located just 400 metres from Tortuguero National Park, just a few steps from the sea shores and features free WiFi access is available in all areas. The setting of the place. It is perfectly aligned with the vibe of Tortuguero. The location is right next to the beach. Rooms are big. No AC but a fan was enough for us. The shower was really large, it could easily fit two people. WiFi was working fine. The hostel also has lots of plants and places to chill out outside of the room. They help organize the tours in Tortuguero as well.

El clan is in the center of Puerto Viejo and yet it is quiet and serene. I love the convenience, friendly staffs, nice facilities especially the pool which we thought is a great deal, the AC which for me is a must when you are in a tropical country, the sorrounding trees where you can sometimes find a sloth up close and most importantly it is where I met new friends from accross the world. ♥️ Ive been looking for a comment before if they provide a towel so YES they do and you only need to deposit 5k colones which will be reimbursed when you return it back. Also, Puerto Viejo is located near a lush vegetation so mosquitoes are expected, I suggest you buy a repellant which is available in a nearby supermercado. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Objekat Tasty Dayz Hostel, koji je smešten u gradu Puerto Vijeho, na 2 min. We got everything we needed, the room was comfortable and we where at a walking distance (2-3 min aprox) from the beach. They also have a great restaurant right next to the hotel and they have great food.

Objekat Madre Selva Hostel, koji je smešten u gradu Puerto Vijeho, na manje od 1 km od znamenitosti Plaža Cocles, u ponudi ima smeštaj sa vrtom, besplatnim privatnim parkingom, zajedničkim salonom i... I enjoyed my stay at the hostel very much. The people, the animals, the nature and only minutes away from the beach ... amazing. The place was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the water pressure was great. We sat outside in the common area most nights playing cards and having a beer, the atmosphere was so welcoming.

Objekat Chinitas Eco Lodge se nalazi u gradu Tortugero, na nekoliko koraka od znamenitosti Plaža Tortuguero, a nudi vrt, terasu i pogled na jezero. They greet me very nicely with a coconut drink and organized everything i questioned about. the place is very relaxing although a bit off the beaten track. you have to get a boat from the main dock to come here. if you wanna stay away from the big tourism in the city this is the place to be.

Objekat La Ruka Hostel, koji je smešten u gradu Puerto Vijeho, na manje od 1 km od znamenitosti Plaža Cocles i 16 min. Overall excellent hostel with a great mix of socializing and chill laid back energy. Clean. Many activities available. Ice bath was an awesome experience. Well situated between town and punta uva/ other beaches. Cheap bike rental. Thank you and see you next time La Ruka!
