Situated on Fyn Island, in the coastal city of Svendborg, this hostel provides free Wi-Fi and a fully equipped shared kitchen. All the modern rooms have a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. VERY nice place! Great breakfast and homemade ginger shot :) There is also a place to prepare your own meals or just to talk with friends. A city centre is nearby, there is also a nice antique shop just across the street.

As expected from the description, the house is under transformation by a group of local enthusiasts that is bringing the beautiful old roadside restaurant back to life. Having a car/bike is needed to get around to find places to eat or to go to sights but just relaxing on site was also nice. We had a double room on the top floor with access to a shared bathroom and a big kitchen/living room that we had for ourselves during our stay. Staying here also support the renovation of the surrounding houses so I look forward to come back and see the progression.
