Attractively situated in Edinburgh, CoDE Pod Hostels - THE CoURT is 100 metres from The Real Mary King's Close. Even when staying in big dormitories, as I did, the Pod gives you a feeling of intimacy. I really didn't feel like I was in a dormitory for most of the time! The shared bathroom get attention at least 3 times a day, which make them very clean compared to the amount of people sharing them. It was very comfortable to use. They serve the most amazing Porridge I have ever tasted ! And the fully equipped kitchen makes the stay so convenient, when you have small appetite and want to make a light meal instead of having to go out in restaurants or fast food. This kitchen is also cleaned often, which is very comfortable to use.

CoDE Co-Living - The LoFT is set on Rose Street North Lane, just a short walk from Princes Street. It offers modern interiors within a red brick-clad period building. Great location, you just turn around the corner and there’s the Castle! The room and bed were comfortable, the locker was spacious and felt safe. I loved the showers! Were the most comfortable ones I’ve found at a hostel. The staff was also super friendly, they’re not permanently there but I met Cassiano and another coworker and they were both kind and helpful :)

Situated in central Edinburgh, the High Street Hostel offers free WiFi in all areas. Dating back to 1564, this historic property is on a small side street, just off the Royal Mile. For a hostel it was great:) Easy check-in, friendly staff, comfy bed, big locker. Even though it was fully booked, it didn't feel crowded, no waiting times at the bathroom etc. Very good atmosphere and although the location was central it wasn't noisy.

Five minutes’ walk from Edinburgh Station and less than 10 minutes from Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile Backpackers enjoys a central location surrounded by bars, cafés and restaurants. The staff is amazing, super friendly and helpful with everything I needed. They provide you all you need for your stay. But the best thing by far is the possibility of making new friends into their daily events and the pubcrawl.
