Set in Oia, 1.1 km from Katharos Beach, Hostel 16 Oia offers air-conditioned accommodation and a bar. What a great hostel. Private individual dorms, very clean. The location Is simply perfect ! The lady that takes care of the hostel was very friendly as helpful. It was a great stay 🫶🏼 and Inwould definitely recommend

They were very helpful, explained how the hostel worked. The truth is that for my first trip alone and staying in a hostel I found everything very good.

Located in Oia and with Katharos Beach reachable within 1.1 km, Central Hostel Oia provides a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. Brillliant breeze and the whole property looks out on the azure waters. Right next to the bus stand and Harry the manager is super helpful - got me a private taxi tour at great rates with Efthemis which turned out to be amazing. Squeaky clean bathroom and toilet, excellent modern kitchen and restful seating area. Calming white decor and a delicious sparkling coffee welcome drink. A supermarket next door.

Situated in Karterados, 1.6 km from Archaeological Museum of Thera, Caveland features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. I stayed at Caveland with family (my two kids and my mother). The room was much more spacious than I could have anticipated. I was expecting a much more smaller room, with several beds fit within the available space (based on past experience). Instead, what we got a essentially a small apartment, with two separate bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and a small living room, all spacious, well equipped (e.g. air condition, wireless, towels etc) and clean. The balcony outside the room was nice for relaxing and also observe the kids in distance, playing in the swimming pool. The kids enjoyed the large swimming pool, it was ideal for the warmest part of the day when we did not want to move around in the island under the Sun. Breakfast was basic but more than sufficient. Everyone was very helpful and kind. The dogs were also a nice company. The village has few nice places to eat, or you can also order to get food delivered at Caveland. Overall, I hope that the fact that Caveland is listed as hostel in some booking websites is discouraging from some families to even consider it as an option - I instead cannot recommend it more.

Situated in Perissa and within 400 metres of Perissa Beach, Villa Nektaria has a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Location was great to go to the beach and very close to bus stop.

Featuring a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden as well as a shared lounge, Fira Backpackers Place is located in the centre of Fira, 600 metres from Archaeological Museum of Thera. I had a fantastic stay at this hostel, largely thanks to the exceptional hospitality provided by the Hostel Manager, Matthew. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel incredibly welcome. His local tips around the area were spot-on, and he was always quick to help with any requests. Matthew's work ethic truly stood out—he went above and beyond to ensure that all guests had a wonderful stay, especially during the colder winter months, even arranging an extra blanket for me. The common room was a great place to relax and unwind, and if you’re lucky, you might even get to enjoy the company of the hostel's playful and affectionate cats. The kitchen was another highlight for me—it's small but well-equipped, making it very convenient for preparing meals. The room itself was clean, well-kept, and provided all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic—super close to the bus stop, and Fira is centrally located, making it easy to access all of Santorini’s transport options. Overall, I loved my stay and would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Santorini. Great atmosphere, great people, and an unbeatable location!
