The price was super affordable, but the quality exceeded expectations. The room was comfortable, and the shared bathroom was always clean. We appreciated the little touches, like the recommendations they sent before our arrival, making everything very smooth. The staff was helpful, answering all our questions about local food and places to visit. Also, the Ijen tour they arranged for us was great—good price and well-organized.

The Ijen tour offered here was convenient and affordable, saving a lot of hassle. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff sent us helpful recommendations before arrival. Overall, an amazing experience!

A lovely, comfortable, and quiet hostel close to busy and interesting parts of Yogyakarta. I appreciated the coffee, water dispenser, washing machine, comfortable places to sit. The rooftop was really nice — you can see a nearby volcano when it’s clear!

I was really pleased with the dorms at ranasa. It is a smaller hostel but has all the facilities of a larger one, including a pool which was bliss in the evening to chill and read a book. The staff were very kind and helpful, and I met some nice people staying to get a beer with. People were quiet at night. Aircon in the dorm was great. Breakfast was delicious. Very good value for money.

It was a very nice experience. Me and my friend took the dorm room in which there were 6 beds. This hostel is very clean, the cleaning lady is very nice and does a very good job. The owner of the hostel is very friendly, he helped us with lots of advice, he even arrange for us daily trips to temples and caves. He knows very well Java and helps us to make plans for our next stops which were very good recommendations. The garden is very beautiful.
