It is a smaller hostel but has all the facilities of a larger one, including a pool which was bliss in the evening to chill and read a book. The staff were very kind and helpful, and I met some nice people staying to get a beer with. People were quiet at night. Aircon in the dorm was great. Breakfast was delicious. Very good value for money.

Me and my friend took the dorm room in which there were 6 beds. This hostel is very clean, the cleaning lady is very nice and does a very good job. The owner of the hostel is very friendly, he helped us with lots of advice, he even arrange for us daily trips to temples and caves. He knows very well Java and helps us to make plans for our next stops which were very good recommendations. The garden is very beautiful.

The hostel was very comfortable and clean with great shared common spaces to work. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you need. The manager RD is a great guy and is happy to help guests with anything they need. In general, Happy Buddha has a very welcoming atmosphere and I would highly recommend anyone to stay here when in Jogja. Great quality for a good price!

The staff was very nice, the communication with the host is excellent. The accommodation is clean and very beautiful. The location is near by the city centre Malioboro and the musea.

The owner is really great, the staff makes you feel like home! Everybody is so nice and I really enjoyed my stay. The hostel is really the top, and the prices are so good. Wish to stay longer, but I will be back here for sure!

You can use microwave and other things in the kitchen. The breakfast was really good. The staff was soo nice. They helped with everything without any negativity. You could hear the morning prayer but it was not too loud. You wake up and fall back asleep. There was even a small pool which we didnt have time to use. We also rented a scooter for a really good price. The best stay. I would definitlly come back again.
