As well as the affordable price during low season (we were the only ones in the hostel). The hostel was clean, functional and the staff friendly.

This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. The view over the fjord from our cabin was simply extraordinary. The cabin was cosy, clean and well equipped, with comfortable beds. Staff was great. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Both were very good. The dinner menu was limited to 3 starters, 3 main courses and 2 desserts, which we understand because everything was home made and fresh.

Located in Seydisfjördur village, this hostel offers a rooms with a seating area, fjord views and free Wi-Fi. Seydisfjördur Swimming Pool is just 30 metres away. Parking is free at the hotel. Amazing place, super friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere, clean, nice bathrooms and a sauna!

This was the most wonderful place to stay. The hostel is a hundred year old home maintained to its true character. The farm is in the most beautiful, isolated area. More than horses, it offers nature walks. I was only sorry I didn't stay longer. Very unique experience and loved it.

It was a beautiful venue in the middle of nowhere, just perfect! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, even the local animals.
