At the hostel the rooms include a shared bathroom with a shower. what a great place. a nice old house in the middle of nowhere. a family friendly hostel with travelers from all over the world. there are horses and sheep on the farm and the kids had a great time playing with them. the way to the hostel is beautiful and we saw a bunch of seals. nice well equipped kitchen. nice eating area with a view of the farm. we really loved it and the kids voted it the best place we stayed at in Iceland haha

Located in Djúpivogur village, this hostel offers rooms with free WiFi. The rooms are located in a separate house, while there is a shared kitchen in the main building. The hostel is very well equipped. The staff is very accommodating; we arrived after the check-in time had ended but because we called earlier the staff stayed behind to greet us and give us the key with instructions. The rooms are good and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are very clean.

Askja Hostel ligger i Modrudalur og har en hage, fellesstue, bar og gratis WiFi. Engelsk/irsk frokost, vegetarfrokost og frokost med glutenfrie alternativer serveres på overnattingsstedet. It was a beautiful venue in the middle of nowhere, just perfect! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, even the local animals.
