Open from June 2015, Glocal Nagoya Backpackers Hostel offers modern accommodation, just a 7-minute walk from JR Nagoya Station. Guests can enjoy various beverages at the on-site bar or cafe. Owner was great. The room had everything you needed, with good sized lockers. Comfortable bed.

They shared many insights about the history and highlights of Asuke, making me feel as though I had become a part of this beautiful town. I stayed in a single room, which was spacious and comfortable, offering a relaxing experience. The restrooms and shower facilities were clean and well-maintained, and to top it off, there was even an open-air bath. It was the perfect way to unwind and soothe my travel fatigue. This is a place I would love to return to as a base for exploring Asuke.

Very new interior, located very close to Subway and bus stations. Has multiple convenience stores, Starbucks, rasturants in walking range. The hostel itself was very clean, bed was very comfortable too. The owner is really nice and has a lot of information about attractions in the city + speaks good English. Couldn't recommend it enough!

A slightly unusual small inn in a downtown shopping street near Nagoya Station. Opened in April 2015. Amazing staff and very good cafe for breakfast.

Set in Tokoname, 28 km from Nippon Gaishi Hall, FRUOR Tokoname offers air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. The staff here are amazing! They only spoke a little English, but they were so helpful. They really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and easy. They also allowed us to use the upstairs lounge as a space for meetings, which was super helpful. We were also able to store our luggage here before and after our stay so that we could explore the town without being weighed down by our luggage. They also assigned us to rooms in a way that allowed our group of 11 to stay together or next to each other. Super thoughtful!
