Within 15 mins tuktuk ride to bus and train station, which is around 200 rupees booked via PickMe - They offered very cheap one day tour that you won’t really find any driver who wants to offer this - Staff is very friendly - Breakfast and dinner included in the price - Room is not humid at all - With AC and fan. It’s not hot without AC on. A fan is enough in Kandy

Aia ja tasuta WiFi-ühendusega Catch The Ella Train Hostel asub Kandys, 1,8 km kaugusel Kandy kuninglikust botaanikaaiast ja 6,7 km kaugusel Kandy raudteejaamast. Asanka was extremely helpful! He taught us lots about Sri Lanka. He went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after. He helped us get tickets on the Ella train. The breakfast was DELICIOUS!

I loved staying here! It is tucked in the hills just outside of Kandy town, about a half hour walk or 3-500rupee PickMe to the center. The whole place was very clean and charming, with lots of light and great views. The beds were comfy, the hot water was good, and the temperature in the room at night was perfect even without air conditioning. Chandana works very hard to make this such a beautiful place to stay, and it shows! If I return to Kandy, I will absolutely stay here again.

The Bliss Hostel Kandy asub Kandys, 7,1 km kaugusel Kandy City Center ostukeskusest. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, ühine puhkeruum ja terrass. We initially planned for only 2 nights, however extended our stay as we loved The Bliss! We stayed in the superior queen room, which is even better than the photos show. Lovely, clean accomodation situated amongst serene nature and a beautiful garden at an amazing price point. We had minimal issues with bugs/mosquitoes during our stay. Thanu and Chathura were fantastic, and make you feel like you’re at home. We had freshly prepared dinner by Thanu most nights, and the dishes were superb! Organise your tuk tuk through their driver Aja - very reasonable prices, though be prepared to hold on tight haha. We organised a day tour with him and his brother to Sigirya, Dambulla and Pirandugala at a really good price! They were both excellent. The accomodation is out of the town centre which is part of its appeal. It’s not hard to hail a tuk tuk either to the accomodation (ask the manager to talk to the driver to direct them), or on the main road. Alternatively getting the bus into Kandy was super easy - walk 10 mins down to the main road by the river and ask the locals where to stand for the bus stop. There are so many buses that pass by. Let the bus drivers assistant know you’re going to Kandy and they’ll let you know if you’re getting on the right bus. The bus fare ranges between 35-45 rupees one way. If you want to get the bus back just ask the locals (at the main Kandy bus terminal we got 613 towards Digana, and got off at the bottom of Jambugahapitiya Road then walked up to The Bliss). Overall, an absolute must stay in Kandy! Stunning accomodation at an amazing price point, with kind and heartfelt service from their staff. We will definitely be back if we return to Kandy.

Barefoot Inn Kandy asub Kandys, 2 km kaugusel Kandy City Center ostukeskusest. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, ühine puhkeruum ja terrass. The host is very nice and welcoming. The building is new, rooms are spacious and very clean. This was also the most comfortable bed we have slept in in Sri Lanka. Great value for money.

Aia, tasuta privaatse parkla ja ühise puhkeruumiga Lazy Bear Best Hostel in Kandy asub Kandys, 3,1 km kaugusel Bogambara staadionist. Very friendly and Helpfull owner. Gave me some good tips. Good room for the money. Clean and confortable. For sute I’ll go there again. Location is very quiet.

Hostel White Rose asub Kandys. Bogambara staadion on umbes 500 meetri kaugusel ning Kandy City Center ostukeskus on samuti lähedal. It was a little building in the heart of the city, which seemed to had been the family’s house before, it was super clean and the owner was lovely and helpful.

Kandy järve ümbrus on vaid 1 km ja Kandy kesklinn 2 km kaugusel. Hostel pakub majutust konditsioneeriga tubades, nagu privaatse vannitoa ja mäevaatega rõduga privaatsed toad, ühise vannitoaga... dinner and cooking class are nice staff are also very good
