Tracy and her husband know how to host backpackers and I hightly recommend this lovely place ! Perfect to go on the Tongariro for hiking and also discovering others activities around. I will definitely go back !

Situated in the town of Ohakune, on the edge of Tongariro National Park, LKNZ Lodge & Cafe is within 5 minutes' walk of restaurants, bars and shops. It features a sauna, hot tubs and an on-site cafe. Friendly, helpful and lovely staff 😊 Clean and cozy room, equiped with everything you need for a short stay. Only a short drive to the Mangawhero Falls in the tongariro National Park. Only a short walk to the world's largest carrot 😉

The place is very cozy and quiet. The rooms and common areas are clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you. It has a great location.
