Very interactive and nice stay with amazing location. pool table, cinema, lots of backpackers and turists to interact with, clean beds, toilets… and the “boss” there was super friendly and comunicative.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They could not have helped me more after a long ride in the rain to get there! Will definitely stay again - it’s a great location and feels like home.

The Cow Shed served great food - so friendly! The room had an en-suite - so convenient! The owners were wonderful - and the cat was so sweet!

Situated on the edge of the Abel Tasman National Park The Barn Cabins & Camp offers guests shared accommodation in a natural bush setting. Socialise by the BBQ or over a game of billiards. The Barn is in a lovely location right next to the start of the Abel Tasman with lovely sunrise views. Our group of five stayed in a four bed room and a single room. Both rooms were comfortable. Although they were small they were adequate for our requirements and priced appropriately. The single room was especially nice and came with a towel. We appreciated the communal areas and the friendliness of other people staying there. It was possible to start a soccer game with other visitors, for example. Kitchen areas are well supplied and large and the bathrooms clean. The on-site caravan producing delicious baguettes was also a bonus. We also used the parking area while we explored the Abel Tasman NP and had no problems.

White Elephant Accomodation is located in Motueka. You can enjoy garden view from the room and 1-hour free WiFi access per day. The staff were lovely. So helpful and friendly and knowledgable about things to do in the area! The kitchen was clean and it was good there was fridge and freezer space.

The Innlet, Country Apartments and Cottages terletak di Collingwood. Exceptional peaceful location in garden surrounded by forest and birdsong and a short walk to beautiful long beach. Wonderful simple accommodation with everything we needed.

Terletak di Takaka, Annies Nirvana Lodge Backpackers mempunyai taman, ruang tamu berkongsi, teres, dan WiFi percuma di seluruh tempat penginapan. The lady is so kind to swap our room for a better accommodation. Wonderful experience.

Terletak di Motueka, 1.7km dari Pantai Motueka Saltwater Baths, Happy Apple Backpackers menawarkan penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma, lounge berkongsi dan teres. Kelly the manageress was gorgeous & very helpful supplying us herbs & vegetables & fruit from her garden. I wish there were two of her !!!

Shambhala Cabins menawarkan penginapan di Onekaka. Asrama ini mempunyai kedua-duanya WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. We absolutely loved our stay at Shambhala. It was my third stay, the first with my partner. The location in native bush overlooking the ocean is phenomenal. I think some of the average reviews here are based on misplaced expectations. The facilities here are simple and "eco". The retreat runs mostly on solar energy and a bit of natural gas. The water is rainwater. The toilets are composting and a short walk from the main cabins. Some people might find these things off-putting, but we loved it all. The short walk down to the ocean through the meditation garden is such a nice touch and we also enjoyed the morning guided meditation. Shambhala really is one of the gems of Golden Bay and a labour of love for the owner, John. We'll definitely return.
