The rooms have a balcony with river views and free WiFi. Very good nature vibes. Built just beside the water stream. In the morning you really feel like waking up in nature. Free breakfast of bread omelet water mellon and coffee. Only 2~3 km from Ferry terminal. I would suggest to rent a motorbike right outside the Ferry terminal. The ideal rate is 300 peso/day. Room bed was spacious with fan (no need of AC). I wanted to stay more nights here but it was all booked for next weeks

You really felt at home the moment you arrived. Location was perfect on the beach, with a vegetarian/vegan restaurant next to it as well. Live music every night and friendly people everywhere. Can’t say they have wonderful staff, cause they really feel more like friends than staff. If you want a social chill place to stay, this is the perfect spot!

Got to Moalboal early via bus then trike from Cebu. Staff allowed me to check-in earlier (free of charge). They can also organize a canyoneering tour at Kawasan falls for 2000 pesos per person (round trip from hostel, guide, gear and entrance fee) Large room + bathroom with good shower pressure & fairly new AC unit. Perfect/quiet location, 1 min walk from the main road (shops, restaurants). 5 min walk to the beach (sardine run)

Me and my boyfriend extended our stay here we liked it so much. It was in a great location and the owner and her partner were lovely as well as the other staff members. They were very accommodating offering tours, breakfast and washing. They offered great recommendations of things to do and places to eat.

Beautiful surroundings, cool & relax place, very social through the amazing home-cooked dinner, great staff, nice vibe for travellers.

Situated in Panglao, within 700 metres of Dumaluan Beach and 2.7 km of Libaong White Beach, Izla Soanna features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The property is located 11 km from Hinagdanan Cave, 49 km from Tarsier Conservation Area and 18 km from Baclayon Church. My favourite hostel in a 2 month trip. At first I was going to stay in Izla Soanna for 3 nights and ended up staying 9 nights an then coming back! The rooms are very clean and comfy, they have a fan per bed and nice mosquito nets. There is also the option of affordable private rooms. The location is just perfect, very near the nicest beach in panglao and at short distance from alona where all the touristy shops are. What I enjoyed the most was the people there, Anna, Flor and Sofia will make you always feel like home, they are extremely nice, helpful and funny. Definitely worth spending some time with them!

The staff was really friendly and ready to help you with anything. You can rent mopeds, snorkelling equipment, the coffee is free and the wifi is great. Momo is the cutest host and she has two lovely dogs that will brighten your days for sure. The rooms are nice and clean and so are the bathrooms.
