Situated on the banks of Lake Sambell, this holiday park offers self-contained cabins with kitchenette facilities and an outdoor dining area. Activities include a playground, free mini golf, badminton and volleyball. Beechworth Lake Sambell Caravan Park is only 500 metres from the start of the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail and a 15-minute walk from Beechworth town centre. It is a 2-minute walk to the nearest supermarket. Guests at Lake Sambell Caravan Park Beechworth have access to laundry facilities, covered BBQ areas, and walking tracks to Lake Kerford and around Lake Sambell. Bicycles, canoes and kayaks are available for hire. Each holiday cabin includes a microwave, refrigerator, stove and kitchenware. Air conditioning and heating are provided. There is a wide variety of eating experiences from a light snack in a stylish café or a pub meal in one of the many hotels. You can enjoy a picnic in the gardens, beside the lake or experience fine dining at its best in an award-winning restaurant. You must also try the daily fresh delicacies of the Beechworth Bakery.

Property information

Beechworth Lake Sambell Caravan Park is the only caravan park in historic Beechworth, located within walking distance to the centre of town. The park offers 18 ensuite cabins and villas, providing accommodation to suit every budget. All the cabins are fully self-contained with ensuite, cooking facilities, microwave oven, television, DVD, heating and cooling. Eight of these cabins are pet friendly. Pets are accepted all year round (with the exception of the Easter Break) in your own caravan or tent, STRICTLY not in our cabins, villas or vans, the only exceptions being Cabins 7 and 8 which are our pet friendly cabins. Dogs must be on a leash at all times within the park and never left unattended. We have a pet policy in place with copies available from the office. There is plenty of room for the kids to ride their bikes around the park, enjoy swimming and fishing in the lake and we are close to the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail and Mountain Bike parks. We offer canoes and kayaks for hire to park guests and the general public. We welcome you to visit us at Beechworth Lake Sambell Caravan Park.

Neighbourhood information

Beechworth is well known for its shopping and specialty shops which are open seven days a week. There are many galleries, antique and gift shops on offer around the busy arts precinct where many local works are displayed. The country around Beechworth is full of reminders of the gold rush days. Visitors have the opportunity to walk in Ned Kelly's footsteps with daily walking tours available through the historic and cultural precinct. Beechworth is not just a well-preserved old gold town; it's a thriving country town, making it an ideal base from which to explore northeast Victoria.
