We love the tall trees - the fresh mountain air - the views of Melbourne city lights at night from SkyHigh Mt Dandenong. We love exploring the interesting shops, dining at Coonara Springs Restaurant.. Our most special joy though is the nature, bird song, wild life we see from day to day - we never want to leave!

the only words you’ll be able to articulate when you arrive at Boyanda. As you enter this sophisticated country home you will be greeted by panoramic views over the valley and the twinkling lights of the city. Elegant in its design style with antique pieces throughout, this beautifully appointed property offers a spacious open plan living and dining area with a wood burning fire, an abundance of seating options, and a fully equipped kitchen with views over the gardens. Ideal for families or small groups the downstairs area has four bedrooms, the master with an en-suite bathroom and views out to the gardens, the second and third bedrooms with queen beds and a fourth bedroom with twin beds. Perfectly located only a short drive away from the town ships of Sassafras and Olinda and local attractions, Boyanda is a great base for exploring everything the Dandenongs has to offer. Or if you prefer to stay in and relax at your accommodation, you can choose to snuggle in front of the fire with a good book, enjoy a board game in the large downstairs recreation space or have afternoon tea in the 3 acres of established garden.

Sassafras, Olinda and Mt Dandenong are the 3 beautiful and ecclectic villages in the Dandenongs. There are 5 Public Gardens, thousands of acres of national parks, cafes, 1000 steps to climb if you wish. Or, maybe you'll just choose to lounge about and enjoy a massage, a little gentle exploring of shops .There's as much or as little to do as you wish. A walk to Olinda or a walk through the forest in Sherbrooke, or a drive to the Yarra Valley wonderful wineries will be a beautiful day out. You will, however, come running home to curl up by the fire in the winter! Coffee at Proserpina or Ripe in Sassafras. Great hot breakfast for you at The Fat Badger. Traditional English tearoom at Miss Marples, but the highlight is a High Tea at Fortnums in Sassafras. We love The Piggery Cafe at Burnham Beeches in Sherbrooke, Coonara Springs Restaurant in Olinda or Dudleys in Olinda for the best pizza and casual dining.
