When and if you emerge you will enjoy the bush environment, the native animals, the vineyard and the grassy surrounds. Take our shuttle to the Coonawarra Wineries Walking Trail and enjoy wine tasting at 6 famous cellar doors, lunch at Fodder and an afternoon rest before dinner... You can spoil yourself with a full breakfast of bacon and home-grown eggs, juice, toast, extra firewood, an electric space heater and a bottle of Coonawarra wine on arrival ("Deluxe" option). Our guests can access 170 acres of heritage bushland with marked walking tracks, a 200 acre vineyard, a 10 acre sugar gum tree farm, an organic hydroponic vegetable green house, a chook pen, a new and immaculate amenities building, a lake, a second amenities building and a fully equipped indoor camp kitchen. My wife and I live on site so we are always available when needed. The caretakers are also ready to assist. Quality linen and towels are provided with this booking - all you need to bring is food and drink, a torch, warm clothes, toiletries and a pet bed or box. Think Coonawarra, and thoughts of sumptuous reds spring to mind – from the rich rust-coloured Terra Rossa soil for which it’s internationally recognized, to the prized red wines that have made it famous. There are the ruddy cheeks of those who tend the vines; the crimson sunsets that sweep across a vast horizon; and of course, there’s the fiery passion in the veins of our vignerons and winemakers.
