The Winston is a short walk to a wide variety of restaurants, bistros and convenience stores. It is also a short distance from Cairns Hospital. There is also a chemist and Post office a short walk from the complex. The Cairns Esplanade is only a few blocks away, as is Tobruk Pool. There is a bus stop out the front door of The Winston complex off Sheridan Street. There is a secure car park in the complex (code operated) but there is also plenty of street parking at the back of the building on McLeod Street. It has to be mentioned that this apartment is NOT a hotel or a motel. It is a stand alone apartment in a residential style complex. There are other short-stay apartments in the complex but it's mostly a residential - long-stay - complex. There is no staff on site although we are only a phone call or message away.
