There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. The holiday home provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Each unit comes with a terrace offering sea views, a flat-screen TV, a dining area, a well-fitted kitchen and a private bathroom with walk-in shower and a hair dryer. An oven, a microwave and toaster are also provided, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the holiday home, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. The cottages have magnificent ocean views of Preservation Bay and are set in a large garden on a 40 acre farm. The modern 2 bedroom cottages are self contained with a full kitchen with dishwasher, gas cook top/oven, full size fridge and a coffee machine. There is air conditioning/heating, 2 flat screen TVs and a washing machine. A barbecue in the alfresco glassed in patio allows outdoor entertaining. Walking on the farm is permitted and there is a large amount of native wildlife including whales in the season and also cattle, sheep and chooks on the property. Seaside Farm is suitable as a quite retreat for couples or for active families and children. The property is within walking distance (2.5km) from Penguin. At the end of the day, sit back and enjoy the view and listen to the waves on the beach below.
Your hosts, Hugh and Liz have been farming all their lives and set up Seaside Farm over the last couple of years. We enjoy gardening and hosting our guests ensuring their privacy is respected. The garden, although young, covers over 2 acres. Children are most welcome and at certain times of the year can experience a little of farming life. we are presently lambing in the paddock adjacent to the cottages.
Penguin is a bustling little town with most amenities and shops including supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops, bank etc. Centrally located between the larger centres of Burnie and Devonport. There are many tourist attractions in close proximity and we are only just over an hour away from Cradle Mountain.
