Penthouse On Bright Point is a luxury apartment right at water's edge on Magnetic Island. Which is a remarkable Island on the Great Barrier Reef of Australia surrounded by the deep blue Coral Sea, magnificent granite boulders & 320 days a year of sunshine. The Island is zoned 50% A National Heritage Region & is unspoilt, unpretentious & very chilled. Guests often tell us how hard it was to leave after the peaceful comfort of their time there. You will see wallabies, eagles, hawks & whales from your balcony if you look at the right times. The Apartment blends indoor with outdoor living seamlessly. It's a little bit like being in a lighthouse but more lavish. The sound of the ocean is very soothing & the starlight sky at night is hard to beat in its expanse & clarity. We have books, games & a beautiful large flat screen TV for your down time there. There are loads of water-sports on Magnetic Island; fishing, jetski, diving & snorkeling as well as skiing. There is golf & even horseback riding on the beach.
Penthouse on Bright Point is our Family Holiday Home (our second home). We live in Sydney & love sharing this, our second home with others when we cannot get away from work commitments. I love the Sea, so this home is a dream come true. I have an interest in Astronomy & Astrology ....so again this location is very special for me & my family because the uninterrupted view of stars in the night sky is particularly beautiful.
Its lovely to be a 5 walk from the ferry ... and so convenient. Breakfast or dinner at the Peppers resort across the road is a special treat at least once during a stay on the Island. Beaches are at walking distance from the Penthouse. You can hire a car & whizz to the other side of Maggie Island in 20 minutes or hop on a bus if you are feeling lazy & enjoy good food & quaint shopping. Jetski tours, hunting for coral swept up on the beach or snorkeling are always fun. The supermarket is just 5 minutes walk & very cute. Magnetic Island is unique home to a bird called the Curlew....which you will think sounds like an eerie baby cry in the night ...the first few times you hear it. So relax & enjoy "Island Living" it's easy :-)
