You will be staying in a cheerful, yet quiet one-bedroom room in our home, which is located close to Wollongong CBD (less than a 5 minute drive). The room has a private ensuite, kitchen amenities, outside patio/ terrace area, and free onsite parking.
The room (which is on the ground level of our house) contains a queen bed, dining area, private ensuite, small kitchenette (within a walk-in closet), and plasma tv- which has chrome cast available to stream all your favourite movies and shows.
* Please note that the tv does not get free to air channels, however there are free streaming platforms available (Netflix, Stan, Amazon Prime, (7plus, etc).
The private ensuite includes toilet, shower and all basic toiletries, and all bedding linen and towels are provided.
The small walk-in contains fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, tea and coffee, and all food utensils.
Tea, coffee, fruit and snacks are provided in the room and included in the room rate.
* Please do not bring any additional cook-ware (portable stove-tops, rice cookers, etc), as we do not have the proper ventilation in the room to use these safely.
An iron is also available on request, and we have a washing machine and dryer upstairs that can be used if needed.
You are welcome to use our outdoor furniture in the garden area, as well as the fire pit. Please note that the fire needs to be put out no later than 10pm and outside noise kept to a minimum.
Early check-ins and late check-outs are possible, however this is subject to availability. Please let us know upon booking if you request this. There is also a storage area available if you need to store your luggage prior to check-in or after check-out.
We are a young, married couple who live with our two children, and dog (cavoodle) on the property (upstairs). We are very friendly, outgoing and love meeting new people. In our spare time we enjoy being active and spending time with friends and family.
Our home is situated in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood in a safe, central location
It is 700m to wollongong train station, less than 5 min drive to wollongong CBD and approximately a 20 min walk.
It is a 10 min walk to other local attractions such as Coniston pub, Moon Sushi, the bakery, post office and Wollongong Hospital.
A public bus stop is located at the bottom of the street.
