Hut Pointe Inn is an eco-friendly, all-suite inn located in a historic building on the island of Eleuthera, in the Bahamas. It offers charming air-conditioned apartments with sea views and fully equipped kitchens. Each 2-bedroom apartment at this eco-friendly property will provide you with a TV, free WiFi, a living-dining area and a balcony. Kitchens include a microwave and an oven, while bathrooms come with a hairdryer. Several beautiful pink sand beaches are within a few minutes’ walk of Hut Pointe Inn. The island’s Atlantic coast is just 1 km away, and the Carribean sea is just 500 meters away. Governor's Harbour Airstrip is 14 km away. Free parking is provided.

Hut Pointe is a family owned, eco-friendly, all suite, inn located in an historic building on the beautiful island of Eleuthera, in the Bahamas. We are conveniently located in the middle of the island, close to both the airport and the settlement of Governors Harbour. Our location is the perfect base for exploring Eleuthera and it is a short walk from each of our suites to the both the Caribbean and the Atlantic, as the island is less than half a mile wide where we are. All of our rooms are 2 bedroom suites, which are large, clean and affordable. Although we remodeled in 2010, we still use the lovely stone buildings that were created in 1944 for the first premier of the Bahamas. We are proud to say that we are the only eco-friendly property on the island and we are constantly working to reduce our footprint and become more self sustaining, without reducing comfort to our guests. We welcome you to join us in the Bahamas and hope that you will come to love our little piece of paradise as much as we do!
Hut Pointe Inn was recently remodeled to include many eco-friendly additions while still maintaining the historical character of the property and guest comfort. Some of our eco-friendly additions include new shower heads and toilets, solar water heating, solar electric with battery backup, rainwater harvesting for all of our water use, low VOC paint, CFL and solar lighting, new energy-saving refrigerators and an organic garden.
The island of Eleuthera is the longest island in the Bahamas and it is very narrow, only a mile wide in many spots. We have many gorgeous, deserted beaches and boast some of the most lovely pink sand beaches in the world. There is a lot to do on the island, from snorkeling to SCUBA and fishing, to nature walks or simply lying on the beach and getting away from it all. We even have things to do for the more adventurous, like caves to explore and ocean holes to experience. We have a great music scene, as the island is home to several famous and infamous musicians and bands. We have great restaurants and bars and the Friday night Fish Fry is not to be missed where locals and tourists gather to dance and hang out and have a taste of homemade island cuisine!
