What can be said about a couple in their 40's who packed up their life in the US and moved to the beach in Belize? Well, whatever you call them, that was us. We lived on the beach for almost 20 years and then in our 60's moved to CAYO District of Belize. We have been in Cayo since 2008 with our two rescue dogs and really like living in such a welcoming area. The outdoor living, the slower pace, and the huge farmers market gives us the ability to live a cheaper and healthier lifestyle, if we choose. Because Belize is such a small country, the beaches are not far away so, like in the states, we take a two hour trip to the beach where we can dive, snorkel or fish to our hearts content. We can even fly by helicopter or plane directly to the beaches from the local airport if we don't want to drive. Now we have our rental villas and provide tours of Cayo to potential expats. Our 30 years in BELIZE provide valuable information and our villas provide luxury accomodations in a jungle atmosphere. Come for a week and stay forever!

We have an excellent location right in the heart of the Cayo District and are located less than 2 miles from downtown San Ignacio. This gives you the convenience of being close to town with all of the ambiance of being in the jungle. You are awakened each morning by the sounds of birds and other wildlife. We are close to all of the Maya sites, zip lines, caves and river adventures. We make it so easy by helping you plan your vacation and giving you the option of an all-inclusive package. With the all-inclusive package you will be picked up and returned to the international airport, picked up and returned to Villa Cayo every day from tours and meals in local restaurants, eliminating the transportation issues. No need to rent a vehicle or pay for a taxi with no hidden costs.

With the all-inclusive package you will be picked up from and returned to the international airport, picked up from and returned to Villa Cayo every day from tours and meals in local restaurants, eliminating the transportation issues. No need to rent a vehicle or pay for a taxi and no hidden costs. If you are not interested in eating in restaurants your villa has beautiful dishes, utensils and quality cookware. Each villa has seasonings, cooking oil, coffee, salt, pepper, sugar, plastic wrap, foil, and food storage containers. On the terrace there is a grill with a lounge area surrounded by lush landscaping where you can have a drink and watch the sunset.
