We are a family run business. We live on the property with our small children, dogs, cats and chickens. I'm your main host and my name is Janna. I'm a potter/pottery teacher/mother and business owner. My husband, Jake, is a local real estate agent (former Jouneyman Ironworker). We love creating, music, art, nature, gardening, being active and just happy in general. We have 3 children too and welcome guests with families of their own. We are usually around and would love to meet you!

Owl Farm was created in order to fulfill a dream of building a creative homestead, living off the land, making art/music, building with natural materials and being part of a vibrant, supportive community. Owl's Nest Straw Bale Suites were opened to share this dream with others. After moving to Prince Edward County from Toronto in 2009 construction began on the straw bale studio and house/suites. Almost everything has been created by hand, either from scratch or reclaiming old materials; handmade pottery sinks, tiles, light sconces, barn board ceilings, hand crafted cupboards, counter tops, etc. In 2010 an organic garden was started in order to provide healthy, natural produce. Guests are welcome to enjoy this garden which has an abundance of fresh organic fruits and veggies in season. Owl Farm is a little oasis that is meant to be shared. Everyone is welcome to come and relax at this unique homestead and the peaceful 6 acre property it sits on.

We are located in beautiful Prince Edward County. A hot destination for wineries, breweries, great restaurants, artists/crafts people and white sandy beaches. Our property is located in the peaceful countryside. Guests will definitely need their own car to stay with us and be prepared to drive to the villages and other attractions. We have a lovely list of recommendations that we are happy to email to guests upon request.
