This classic hotel is located in a quiet area of San José, 3 km from the city centre. It offers an outdoor pool, tennis court and complementary WiFi connection and shuttle to and from the airport, this service must be booked 36 hours in advanced. The air-conditioned rooms at the Barceló San José feature carpeted floors, flat-screen TV and views of the city or mountains. Each one comes with a coffee-maker and mini bar. The Barceló San José has 3 restaurants, Anfora Restaurant, Miyako Japanese and El Rancho Grill Restaurant also you will find a bar on site. There is a spa with a fitness centre, hot tub and a range of treatments. Other facilities include a 3 squash court, 2 tennis court and 1 pickleball court free for guests booking in advance directly at the gym. Juan Santamaría Airport is a 15-minute drive from the hotel, and an airport shuttle service is available on request. You can drive to Sabana Park and the National Stadium in 10 minutes.
