We are a Swiss expatriate family living in Costa Rica since 2005, where we are dedicated to tourism. In Playa Ocotal we have found our dream home that we would love to share with you! Since 2014, our residence has been transformed into a "Guesthouse" to which I have dedicated myself full-time since 2019. This allows me to enjoy a morning stroll with our dogs, who love the beach and Pura Vida as much as we do! Following the pandemic, I created "Le Régal Home Bakery" where I prepare bread and desserts which you can enjoy on request for breakfast or to take away during your excursions. My husband Patrick is a tour guide and explores every corner of the country which made him know Costa Rica. He shares his love for the diversity of nature by giving you advice for visiting the country and will gladly accompany you there on request. He created "Costa Rica Explorations" whose short report and anecdote on social networks will inspire you. Our daughter follows the interests of her parents but above all has pursued her passion for riding for several years
Playa Ocotal is a residential and peaceful beach. No neighbors to disturb you apart from the howler monkeys who visit us regularly :-). For walkers, there are beautiful walks to do in the neighborhood to discover nature and the beautiful views in a more active way. You can also reach two beaches in just 15 minutes on foot around for resting or snorkeling. Father Rooster restaurants in Playa Ocotal and Soluna Beach Bistro Bahia Pez Vela are the only two places that serve lunch and dinner all year round. For more action, the fishing village of Playas del Coco at 5 km, 15 min by car, offers you many restaurants, bars and nightclubs, supermarkets, beauty salon, pharmacies, a medical clinic, banks and towers. As an operator, "Costa Rica Explorations" will be happy to advise you on the activities of the region and to accompany you there.
