The story behind NOOM The origins of NOOM b.v. date back to 2013, when Dutch-born couple Maria and Rob started managing their first vacation rental villa on the Caribbean island of Curacao. Their educational background and experience in International Hotel Management, soon contributed to many happy guests who highly appreciated the villa quality together with Maria and Rob, their colleagues and their personal approach to authentic service.

Jan Sofat LUX is a new resort within the secured and gated area of Jan Sofat; one of the nicest neighborhoods of Curacao and close to the beaches (Jan Thiel is a five minute drive). The beautifully designed resort offers a very large salt water pool including a waterfall, pool terraces/whirlpool, relax areas with top-of-the line pool furniture and beautiful tropical landscaping, which will make you feel like you are in paradise. Your luxurious modern styled ground floor apartment can host up to 4 guests and measures 100 m2. It offers a spacious living room with an open kitchen which seamlessly blends the indoor and outdoor space. This apartment has two bedrooms with a/c and each a private bathroom. Your porch offers a comfortable seating and dining area where you can enjoy the cool breeze of the ever present Curacao trade winds and a relaxing view of the gardens. Please note our rate is inclusive of usage of water. Electricity is not included and the costs will be 0,50 eruo per KwH. Our rule of thumb is 10 KwH per room per night, provided the a/c runs for 8 hours at 25 degrees Celsius.

The Jan Sofat area is centrally located to the east of Willemstad. Jan Sofat is surrounded by the Spanish water which brings a wonderful breeze throughout the resort. Jan Sofat is unique because of its own harbor. In the vicinity of Jan Sofat you will find many amenities as restaurants, mini malls, health centers and petrol stations. Famous beaches such as Caracas Bay and Jan Thiel Beach are within an easy reach of 10 minutes drive. Sea Aquarium Boulevard with its popular Cabana Beach and Bonita Beach club is also about 10 minutes drive. Downtown Willemstad is about 20 minutes away.
