There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby and in the center of Pernera which is only 2 minutes walk away. The busier and larger resorts of Protaras and Ayia Napa are easily reached by car or local buses where there are many more beautiful beaches, with good water sports facilities. Ayia Napa is of course also famous for its lively nightlife.
